Nagadeva
I spent the early 1980’s working in the music business in London. I
laboured variously, from sweeping warehouse floors to recording in a top
London studio as an artist.
In the mid 1980’s I trained in Rogerian Counselling and began to explore and express the ‘spiritual’ in my life.
I was ordained into the Western Buddhist Order in 1993.
Between 1989 and 1997 I lived and worked in a number of communities ranging from ‘psychotherapeutic’ to semi-monastic.
I trained as an occupational therapist and have worked in mental health services for a number of years.
I have led workshops in creative writing and assertiveness training and I have taught meditation in Europe and Nepal. I came across NVC in London in 2001 where a significant and passionate chord was struck in me. I live in Brisbane with Georgina and my three small children, working to connect compassionately with all beings.
